A sixteen year old driver was thrown from his SUV in a rollover crash in Calhan, east of Colorado Springs according to The Gazette. The single vehicle accident, which apparently occurred when the driver drifted off the road to his left, resulted in the Isuzu Rodeo rolling over twice. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, and was thrown out of the car. He was flown to Memorial Hospital by Flight for Life, where he was listed in critical condition. According to 9 News, a tragic accident left two people pinned between two cars when they were unloading their van in Colorado Springs. The accident was initiated when a car swerved into some parked cars in an attempt to avoid hitting a truck that was driving in the wrong lane. According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, a tragic fatal accident involving a pickup truck has investigators baffled as to the cause. The accident occurred on Westmeadow Drive in Colorado Springs around 7p.m on Thursday. Fifty-four-year-old Steven Hill crashed his motorcycle into another vehicle off of Platte Avenue and Academy Boulevard. The Colorado Springs motorcyclist was traveling eastbound just past Academy Boulevard when he struck a black Chevrolet Cobalt. Hill was believed to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, according to KKTV.
